Hi Friends ~

Well . . . it has been quite some time since I checked in and blogged.  I’m giving myself a D- for staying in touch via blog posts!  The good news is that the last couple months have been a whirlwind of staging activity . . . which in turn gives me a lot of information and updates to share with you in the very near future.

For today I wanted to provide some examples of how color can change a room.  These particular homeowners chose colors that appealed to them for living.  When it came to staging their home to sell we needed to tone it down a notch to appeal to the broadest section of buyers.  A lot of people think that color selections for staging a home will either be boring shades of white or beige.  I think these colors will show you differently!

I love me some good before/after photos . . . let’s take a look!

(Of course, in addition to changing the color we did some staging along the way . . . )

Starting with the den, the oranges that the homeowners loved so much were toned down to a NOT boring Sag Harbor Gray by Benjamin Moore.  Notice that we still kept punches of orange as accent colors which are repeated throughout the other main living areas of the house.

Lastly, we have a bathroom that went from a canary yellow to a light warm griege.  Forgive me, but I don’t have the exact color at my fingertips . . . (ARGHHH).  If interested let me know and I’ll hunt it down!  Again, not a boring color and a HUGE difference.

I think these pictures showcase a tremendous color improvement for staging a home to sell, don’t you?  My staging consultations include color recommendations and I carry with me over 100 colors that work well in staging a home to sell!  I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and answer any questions you may have.  You can contact me HERE for additional information.

Until the next time ~
